What is SERP? 

SERP or Search Engine Results Page are the listings or results, displayed by a search engine.  These search results displayed are the most relevant to what the user has searched for according to that search engine.

These listings are called organic search results.

You will often see Adverts listed in the SERP results, at the top and bottom. These adverts are a type of internet marketing known as Pay-Per-Click or PPC. The advertisers are paying a fee each time one of their ads is clicked. 

Organic search results are different from adverts as they are arranged by the search engine’s ranking organic algorithms rather than who is paying the most. 

You can’t pay for your website pages to rank higher in organic search results.
