What is Two-Factor Authentication?

Two-Factor Authentication or 2FA as it is also know, is an extra security measure that requires two forms of identification when logging in.

This second piece of idnetification could be a text message, or a call, or a code generated by an authetication application.

We recommend using Authy, Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator.

It is important to note that without your smartphone you will not be able to log in.

Enable 2FA for your web hosting account

Login into your web hosting account as normal

From the menu , choose Account Details

Then follow the link to enable 2FA for your account by scanning the QR code with the Two-Factor Authentication app on your smartphone or enter in the code manually.
