The Amber Foundation made the move over the Christmas Break to move their email system over to Google Applications
The move has helped reduce SPAM and unwanted email as well as increased the use of handheld devices such as Blackberry and Apple i-phone mobile phones.
To help reduce the amount of downtime with the switch over, both the old and new systems were run in parallel prior to the Christmas Break, with Hightrees Organisation performing the remote reconfiguration of Staff PC’s over the Christmas Holidays ready for their return.
Plans are underway to start trialling Google Calendar for Staff Scheduling and Meeting informations.
